25 year old female

Chronic low back pain of 6 years duration, with acute left sciatica for 2 months.

MRI showed L4,5 and L5S1 bulges.

After 12 Hill Decompression sessions she was able to sit for 1-2 hours at a time.

After 30 sessions over 3 months she was 95% pain free and able to exercise with caution.

Follow up MRI revealed significant changes to L4,5 and L5S1.

An 18-year-old male suffering after a motor vehicle accident.

The patient complained of neck pain, headaches, and numbness and tingling in his arms and hands. Upon examination, he had a positive cervical compression test, restricted ROM in the cervical spine with significant trigger point pain identified at multiple sites in the cervical and upper thoracic spine. Cervical x-rays were ordered and revealed a reversal of the normal cervical lordosis, paradoxical motion at the posterior motor units of C1, C3, C5, C6 and C7 in flexion and at C1, C3, C5 and C6 in extension. Cervical subluxation was confirmed through a correlation of motion palpation, x-ray and computer assisted motion analysis unitizing an adjusting instrument. Pain indices were noted at a 8-9 out of 10 for neck pain and a 5-6 out of 10 for headaches. The bilateral numbness was noted as intermittent and mild to slight.

The patient was recommended a 6-8 week treatment plan of chiropractic adjustment or CMT, exercise therapy or muscle rehab, and 8-10 visits of non-surgical axial spinal decompression using the Hill DT Decompression Table. All of his symptoms abated within 4-6 weeks. Due to the significant level of improvement, a follow-up lateral cervical film was ordered to determine if a cervical posture pump or similar device should be recommended as ongoing support for postural improvement of the loss of curve. Upon re-evaluation it was noted however, that the patient had fully recovered from his symptoms. His ROM was normal, he had no positive orthopedic or neurological signs and on x-ray, his cervical spine had returned to the normal lordosis.

Summary
The Hill DT Decompression table played a significant role in the patients rehab and it is my opinion significantly contributed to the positive outcome experienced by this young man.

40 years old male

who was suffering from Low Back Pain since last 2 years with sciatica from 6 months.

Presented to clinic in May 2014 with severe pain, unable to stand or sit for more than 3 minutes & weak extensors of big Toe with weak dorsiflexion of Foot.

He received 22 sessions of HillDT with 1-2 co-modality on each session for 6-8 weeks.

His pain and claudication started to reduce after 10-12 sessions of therapy.

On follow up after 6 months during which patient only continued 2-3 swimming sessions per week he has shown remarkable improvement from his initial condition to pain free state.

Other clinical results:

A few great results to share. We had a 78 year old man with chronic neck pain. He had limited ability to turn to the left or look up. X-rays revealed severe degenerated discs at C4-5, C5-6, and C6-7. He could not sleep well at night or turn his head well to look when driving. His pain was at a consistent 4/10. After about 10 decompression treatments his pain is to a 1/10. He is sleeping better and has increased neck motion. He stated that this is the best my neck has felt for a long time.

We also had a 64 year old lady with severe right low back pain (8/10), right leg pain, and numbness in the right foot. The MRI revealed spondylolisthesis at L4, disc degeneration at multiple levels, and spinal stenosis. She is on about visit 15 now and her pain is 1/10 and all of her right leg symptoms have gone away.

We also have a 44 year old male who injured his back in Feb. of 2012. His pain was 8/10 when he started treatment. He could not stand up straight and had been this way since his injury. He had tried chiropractic treatment, physical therapy (traction), and steroid injections which provided little or no relief. His back index was 62% disability. After 20 sessions of decompression his pain is 3/10 and has back index is 20% disability.

He is able to stand up straight and can even bend back in extension with only minimal pain. We hope to get him fully relieved of pain with a few more sessions.

70 yr old female with severe DJD at C3/C4, chronic headaches and shoulder pain…….no other treatments worked, but with DT she was pain free after 6 weeks……..
Early 40’s female, came in with right arm over her head ( could not lower her arm) and an MRI confirmed a disc bulge Right C6,7. She was numb from her forearm down, had pain into her shoulder, intense neck pain, and had not slept for 2 weeks. We did DT twice a day for 2 days, then daily for about a week, then second daily for 2 weeks, now twice weekly……when she first came I tested her grip strength because I find that is a great way for them to see function returning even when the pain is still there…..when she started her Left grip strength PSI was 12, while her right PSI was only 8…after 2 sessions on the table her right PSI had increased to 10……..which showed her we were on the right track…..after her third session it increased to 12……and then a couple of sessions later both sides were 14 PSI…..and holding steady at that….she was able to lower her arm by her side by day 3, and had feeling return in her right forearm after a few days too……..after 2-3 weeks she just had slight pins and needles down one side of her index finger, normal ROM and only moderate neck pain……a few weeks later she was totally pain free, and able to return to lifting children at work.
